The aquarium and gardens are right next to each other. The aquarium is not very big so you can see all of it in less than 30 minutes. The gardens take a little more time, especially if you take your time and stroll around. The ticket is not expensive at all.
What would you suggest for a senior and two middle aged people to get the most out of Botanical Gardens and Aquarium? My mother is 79 and would love to go, but she is not able to do a whole lot of walking at once due to heart condition.

Sorry i just saw this - I would suggest bringing a wheel chair or if you have handicapped placard for parking, use it. The place has plenty of options and seating, but if I were you (and since everyone’s abilities are different) I would call to speak with someone, or look online for a video tour of the place to determine if she can handle it. The Zoo portion is much bigger so perhaps just the aquarium. I think that would be fine if done slowly and in small spurts.
