There used to be and they were pretty nice. I am thinking that they were destroyed by the last hurricane, but I am not sure. The campground lost 80 some sites in the storm. My husband and I use our camper when we visit the park. You would need to visit their website or call the park to see if the cabins are still standing.

It depends, what are you looking for? The ones along the back (opposite the parking lot/entrance building) are the most secluded.

You have to go online and book. You can book 9 months ahead. It will be hard to get close to beach without reservations made far in advance. We have been going for years and now that the front beach area is gone I can’t do it. The bugs will eat you alive when there is no breeze. It doesn’t matter day or night.
