I am not sure. We left early in the morning and we stopped first to have breakfast where the desert bus is. Then we left to Lagunas Baltinache.I would guess at 8 or 9am, but when we got there we waited about 30min for them to open. We had lunch there as well. All the tours were organized by Aylluatacama agency, I highly recommend them. Cheers.

If you want to enjoy Valle de la luna you need at least a half day, because there is also a lot of driving there and above all a lot of walking to discover different sites. It's a good idea to be there in the afternoon when the colours are more beautiful and the sunset spectacular.
hi would anyone recommend a travel agency? or would anyone comment on whether it is easy to get there a different way? thnak you
