In my opinion, there is not much need for a formal tour guide because there is just a church (beautiful) and garden areas to walk around outside and enjoy the great views. Certainly a tour guide could tell you more history and information, but it is very accessible to do on your own without missing anything. Sorry I don't have any good information regarding tour companies and prices.
It will be my first time in Israel next year and am staying at the Casear Premier Hotel in Tiberias and would like to Climb Mount Tabor as a daytrip in January 2019. Is this feasible please? I am very fit and hike a lot in my home country of Wales. Are there taxis that would go to the base of the mountain? Thanks so much. Beth

You can get a taxi from Tiberias. As long as you are fit is feasible to climb along the road from Daburia (about 3KM uphill). You might find a ride down the hill

With private car that is no problem to reach the top. also If you are coming with a taxi from another place, you can continue to the top with it,
